En el proyecto  \u00abI SPEAK ENGLISH\u00bb"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p><em>\u00bfQuieres colaborar con la comunidad mije\u00f1a? \u00bfTe gustar\u00eda dar clases de conversaci\u00f3n en ingl\u00e9s con ni\u00f1os en los Colegios e Institutos ?<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>El proyecto <strong>\u201cI SPEAK ENGLISH\u201d<\/strong>, iniciado hace 15 a\u00f1os por el Dep. de\nExtranjeros, Ayuntamiento de Mijas, tiene por finalidad ayudar a los j\u00f3venes de\nlos colegios y Institutos de Mijas a desarrollar y mejorar el habla inglesa. Un\ngrupo de voluntarios, principalmente brit\u00e1nicos, asociados a la Asoc. AIVOMI,\nacuden a los centros dos veces por la ma\u00f1ana y durante 2 horas aproximadamente conversan,\njuegan y organizan talleres con &nbsp;los\nalumnos. Tanto el profesorado y alumnos del los centros est\u00e1n encantados con\nesta iniciativa y los voluntarios muy contentos de colaborar y como comentan\nalgunos <em>\u00abEs una manera de devolver\nalgo a la comunidad donde vivimos y estamos muy contentos en colaborar,\u00bb <\/em>comenta\nla coordinadora de los grupos,<strong>Agnes\nSmith.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>AIVOMI es una asociaci\u00f3n ubicada\nen el n\u00facleo mije\u00f1o hace 2 a\u00f1os y que presta servicios de un grupo de &nbsp;interpretes voluntarios diario en los Centros\nde Salud, Care y la Guardia Civil. Tambi\u00e9n organiza ahora el grupo de\nvoluntarios que participan en el proyecto \u00abI speak English\u00bb. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u00ab<em>Desde el Dep. de Extranjeros, Ayunt. de Mijas colaboramos ahora en este\nproyecto como mediadores y en la difusi\u00f3n con los medios de comunicaci\u00f3n\nespa\u00f1ola y extranjera para captar mas voluntarios en general \u00ab<\/em> comenta\n<strong>Anette Skou<\/strong>, Dep. de Extranjeros. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u00ab<em>Estamos muy agradecidos a la Asoc. AIVOMI y a todos los voluntarios por toda la labor que est\u00e1n haciendo, ofreciendo su tiempo para ayudar a los estudiantes en nuestros centros educativos en Mijas<\/em>\u00bb dice <strong>Arancha L\u00f3pez<\/strong>, Concejala del Dep. de Extranjeros, Ayunt. de Mijas<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Se ha llevado a cabo este proyecto en el IES Villa de Mijas, CEIP Virgen de la Pe\u00f1a y IES La Vega de Mijas. En octubre est\u00e1 previsto el inicio en los centros educativos en &nbsp;la zona de la Cala de Mijas, siendo el primero el Colegio el Chaparral, con la cual hemos mantenido una reuni\u00f3n para iniciar la organizaci\u00f3n. \u00ab<em>Necesitamos voluntarios y si te gustar\u00eda colaborar en este proyecto, cont\u00e1ctanos &#8211; no hace falta hablar espa\u00f1ol, solo un buen nivel de ingles, tambi\u00e9n nos interesa voluntarios de habla Francesa<\/em> \u00bb comenta <strong>Juan Vicente<\/strong>, Presidente de la Asoc. CONTACTANOS&nbsp; POR EMAIL : aivomi.mijas@gmail.com <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong><em>INGLES<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The project \u00abI SPEAK ENGLISH\u00bb was\nstarted up by the Foreigners Department, Mijas Town Hall 15 years ago, with the\naim to help young students at the Primary and High Schools in Mijas\nmunicipality to improve their English. A group of volunteers, mainly British,\nassociated with AIVOMI, attend the schools twice a week in the morning and for\napproximately 2 hours they talk, play and organize workshops with the pupils.\nThe teachers and students at the centres are delighted with this initiative and\nthe volunteers are happy to collaborate and as one said: \u00ab<em>It is a nice way to give something back to\nthe community where we live and we are very happy to collaborate in this\nproject, said the coordinator of the groups\u00bb,<strong>Agnes Smith.<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><br>\nAIVOMI is an association that was established 3 years ago and is located in\nMijas. They provide a free daily interpreter service at the Health Centres,\nCare and the Civil Guard. The Association <strong>AIVOMI<\/strong>\nis also now organizing the group of volunteers that participate in the \u00abI\nspeak English\u00bb project. \u00ab<em>From\nthe Dept. of&nbsp; Foreigners of the Town Hall\nof Mijas, we are collaborating in this project as mediators and we are in\ncontact with the Spanish and foreign medias in order try to obtain more\nvolunteers\u00bb,<\/em> says <strong>Anette Skou,\nMijas Foreigners Department.<\/strong> \u00ab<em>We\nare very grateful to the Asoc. AIVOMI and all the volunteers for their collaboration\nin this programme giving their time to help the students at our local schools\nand high schools\u00bb<\/em> said <strong>Arancha\nLopez,<\/strong> Councillor of the Foreigners department, Mijas Town Hall.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This project has been carried out at following\nmunicipal schools: IES Villa de Mijas, CEIP Virgen de la Pe\u00f1a and IES La Vega\nde Mijas.
